The experienced midfielder has joined Derby on a month's loan after failing to make a first-team appearance for Hull so far this season.[LNB]He started the Rams' 4-2 defeat by Queens Park Rangers on Saturday and is looking forward to playing football on a regular basis again.[LNB]The 33-year-old concedes it has been a frustrating time at the KC Stadium, but refused to reveal the reason behind his exclusion from Brown's plans.[LNB]"I have not had much game time at Hull, especially this season, just a few reserve-team outings so it has been frustrating," said Hughes.[LNB]"I think it has been frustrating for everyone at Hull this season because we haven't started the season too well and when you are not involved, you cannot give too much to the team.[LNB]"I'm just looking now to get some games. You work hard all week and you want to play on a Saturday, and that has not been happening.[LNB]"For some reason there has been a fall-out with Phil (Brown), but that will stay behind closed doors.[LNB]"I have had numerous conversations with Phil about why he is not playing me, but he wants his own way and he is going his own way, so you just have to accept that as a player.[LNB]"He is the manager at the end of the day and he makes the decisions.[LNB]"But I have always believed in my own ability. I believe I've still got a lot to offer and, hopefully, I can show that.[LNB]"I am looking to get my career going again. This is a great opportunity for me to come to Derby and play games and try to help the team."[LNB][LNB]
