Hartley braced for Savage clash

City travel to Derby looking for their first away win of the season and veteran Scottish international Hartley, 32, expects a tough battle against the home side's controversial Welshman. The Rams have lost their last four Championship games and Hartley thinks the home crowd may turn on their side if the visitors get off to a good start. "I haven't played against Robbie before. I have watched him over the years and it is obvious that he is a quality player," the City man told the Bristol Evening Post. "He is a known competitor and it will be a tough battle. It is the sort of battle you relish; coming up against good players and pitting your wits against them." He added: "They have big crowds and there is a lot of expectation for the team to carry. If we can get the first goal it will make life difficult for them."
