Leeds had agreed terms with Dickinson and Derby to take the 23-year-old striker on loan until the end of the season, but were dismayed to learn the Football League refused to take into account the severe weather conditions when paperwork arrived 14 minutes late.[LNB]Grayson said: "I thought Liam would be a good addition to us. I worked with him at Blackpool and he scored many goals in the last few years and got his move to Derby County.[LNB]"He would have been good for us and would have increased competition for places and I was disappointed that we did not get him.[LNB]"But we will have to wait and see over the next few weeks what will happen.[LNB]"Talks are ongoing and I would like to think that if he had a choice of clubs, then Leeds would be top of his priority list."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
