Glick: Rams in healthy shape

Derby chief executive Tom Glick believes the club is in a healthy state following the publication of the latest accounts. The Directors' Report and Financial Statements for 2010 show the club returned a loss of £2.16million, compared to a loss of £14.93m for the previous 12 months. Glick explained to the club's official website: "Derby County is in a healthy and stable financial shape to move forward. "The figures show an operating loss but it is a loss which has been brought down from last year. "There is no such thing as a good loss but we are continuing to run the club in a sensible manner. "Whilst progress on the pitch has not been as we would have envisaged, we remain as determined as ever to return Derby to the Premier League."
