Derby County new signing Frank Fielding is overjoyed at getting a deal which takes him to Pride Park after fifteen Years with Blackburn Rovers The Rams new goalkeeper Frank Fielding is looking forward to life at Pride Park. Fielding (23) had been third choice at his boyhood club, Blackburn Rovers and needed to move to a large club to gain first team experience and to enhance his claim to an England U21 place. Frank has stated that it was a wrench to leave Blackburn as he had been with the club for 15 years, Yes! He joined the Lancashire club when aged just 8 years old. However he values the chance given him by Nigel Clough and Derby County and looks forward to making the goalkeeping shirt his own. The contract for Fielding is for three years, although it still has to be sanctioned by the Premier League and FA before the signing becomes permanent.
