Willie Carlin a major player in the Brian Clough second division Championship winning side has had his medal stolen One of Brian Clough's second Division Champions has had his gold winners medal stolen from his Allestree home, along with a large amount of jewellery. Seventy year old Willie Carling along with Derbyshire Constabulary are seeking to find who stole his gold Championship winners medal around midday and two o'clock in the afternoon on the 28th April of this year. Willie is devistated by the loss, which he won along with his team mates and can't get his head around the fact that someone could just break into his home and take the medal which means so much to him and what took him so much effort to win. Entry to the Carling household was gained by smashing a window with a spade. Police believe that the thief will recongnise the significants of the circular medal and will not have it melted down. Any information with reclaiming the medal will be much appreciated by Willie and the Derbyshire Police.
