Derby County striker Nathan Ellington will make his return from injury in the Rams reserve game on Wednesday. Ellington, who is on a season-long loan from Watford, has not played since picking up a hamstring injury in the defeat against Ipswich last month. Derby County take on Mansfield in the reserve league cup at Alfreton Town's Impact Arena. Manager Nigel Clough will also field Australian midfielder Mile Sterjovski in the tie. Mansfield Town will also have three trialists in their side. Former Accrington Stanley centre-half Sean Webb will figure in the Stags side along with ex-Stockport County defender Gianluca Harvarn and midfielder Ashley Burbeary, who has most recently played at Droylsden. Derby face QPR in the Championship on Saturday before travelling to Old Trafford for the second leg of their Carling Cup semi-final against Manchester United on Tuesday.
