Duo banned for Rams

Derby defenders Dean Leacock and Dean Moxey are suspended for the visit of Ipswich. Leacock begins a two-match ban after he collected his 10th yellow card of the season in the home defeat to East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest. Moxey was sent off in that game and misses out with a one-match ban. With Russell Anderson (calf) and Jake Buxton (back and groin) still out, boss Nigel Clough tried to ease his defensive problems with the loan signing of Liverpool`s Daniel Ayala. However, the Spaniard is on his way back from a hamstring injury so it has been decided that he will continue his rehabilitation at the Premier League club and link up with Derby later next month. Miles Addison and Shaun Barker are likely to form the central defensive partnership, while Gareth Roberts is expected to return at left-back in place of Moxey. Steve Davies could make his first start of the season if Clough fails to sign a forward to replace Kris Commons, who has joined Celtic. Midfielders James Bailey, Paul Green, Stephen Pearson and Tomasz Cywka are also available for recalls.
