Derby have signed Hull goalkeeper Matt Duke on an emergency loan for the rest of the season. The 33-year-old has joined the Rams as cover for first-choice goalkeeper Frank Fielding following Stephen Bywater's loan switch to Cardiff. He played under Nigel Clough at Burton Albion, and the Derby boss is delighted to have brought in a custodian of Duke's experience. "We know Matt well," Clough told his club's official website. "He has good experience both in the Championship and Premier League and he is ideal for us to work alongside Frank." Duke began his career with non-league Matlock Town and joined Burton in 2000 following a brief spell with Sheffield United. Four impressive seasons brought a move to Hull in 2004 and he played a part in the 2005 and 2008 promotions to the the Championship and Premier League respectively at the KC Stadium.
