Dickinson nearing Seagulls move
The 23-year-old, who only joined the Rams from Stockport in a £750,000 deal last summer, is in talks with the Seagulls.
Dickinson played 40 minutes of Derby's opening pre-season fixture against Burton on Saturday. He sustained a calf injury at the Pirelli Stadium but the problem is not serious.
"I think things are moving with Brighton and I think something will happen this week," confirmed Derby manager Nigel Clough.
"You think, 'should we have played him at Burton?' But 40 minutes will not do him any harm at all.
"I thought for the first 15 or 20 minutes of the second half when he came on he was a handful."
