Hendrick missing for Rams

Derby will be without Jeff Hendrick in their starting line-up for the first time in the Sky Bet Championship this season when Burnley visit Pride Park.

Hendrick missed the 5-0 home victory over Brentford in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night after hobbling off in the league win at Yeovil last weekend. The 21-year-old midfielder, who will see a specialist on Friday, will remain on the sidelines against the Clarets and is unlikely to go on international duty with the Republic of Ireland next week.

Paul Coutts and John Eustace are battling it out to replace Hendrick.

Rams boss Nigel Clough has no other new problems so will select from the same group of players that were on duty against Brentford.

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton has been assured he will retain his place in Burnley's XI on his return from suspension.

The summer signing was dismissed for two bookable offences in the 2-0 defeat to Brighton, the Clarets' first of the campaign, and served a one-match ban against Preston in the Capital One Cup in midweek.

Although debutant Alex Cisak kept a clean sheet, boss Sean Dyche indicated Heaton had done enough prior to his red card to come straight back in.

The Clarets, whose only injury absentee is midfielder Ross Wallace (knee), have taken three points from Pride Park on each of the last three occasions.
