Derby deny £3m approach from Wolves for in-demand striker Hulse

Hands off: Derby want to keep Wolves target Hulse[LNB]Derby have denied receiving an approach from Premier League strugglers Wolves for striker Rob Hulse.[LNB]It has been reported that the Black Country club are ready to bid£3million for the 30-year-old when the transfer window opens in January.[LNB]Hulse, the Rams' leading scorer this season with six goals, turned down a move to Middlesbrough in August after the Teesiders tabled a £4million-plus deal.[LNB]Derby expect interest in the striker next month but insist they have yet to receive an offer.[LNB]A club spokesman said: 'We have had no formal approach for Rob Hulse from any club at this stage but expect plenty of these stories in the build-up to January and therefore we will not be reacting to them all.'[LNB]Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is keen to pep up his attack with hisside second from bottom of the table having scored just 12 goals in 14games.
