Derby boss given vote of confidence

The former Burton boss has come under fire following Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Scunthorpe. It was the Rams' third straight home loss and prompted some fans to suggest Clough and his backroom staff were not up to the job on a local radio phone-in.[LNB]Derby are just five points above the relegation zone but Glick insists there will be no knee-jerk reaction.[LNB]"A year ago we were convinced we made the right decision [appointing Clough] and we're still convinced," Glick told BBC Radio Derby.[LNB]"We are building something that will be consistently successful at a high level over an extended period of time and while we are in a rough patch right now we are not in a rush to build something as quickly as possible.[LNB]"We are incredibly disappointed with our last three home results but we are not going to let that cloud our judgements or our convictions."[LNB][LNB]
