The 26-year-old striker has been linked with making the short move to Pride Park, with Rams' boss Nigel Clough looking to rebuild his squad. But Davies, who has been told he will be backed financially by City Ground chairman Nigel Doughty, revealed he does not have to sell unless the offer is to good to refuse. "If somebody comes in and offers us big money for one of our players, we might have to look at something," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "But the idea is not to do too much to the current squad. We want to add to the squad, not reduce it."
