Davies ankle operation sees him miss the final two games

Rams striker Steve Davies will be the latest player ruled out for the season as he undergoes an ankle operation Steve Davies out of the Rams final games of the season but hopes to be back fit for the start of the 2010-11 seasonTwenty two year-old Steve Davies is to undergo an operation on his damaged ankle next Monday in an effort to get him fully fit for the start of next season.The operation puts Davies out of the final two games of the season and the timing of the procedure is calculated to give him the best possible chance of being ready for the 2010-11 season. Davies is expected to be sidelined for between four to six weeks.The injury was sustained during the rams game with Plymouth Argyle earlier this season.Steve is due to be back in training on the 1st June, which is four weeks ahead of the main squad members and the extra time will hopefully see him as fit as the rest of the squad at the start of the season...
