Commons shrugs off Bhoys rumours

Newcastle and Wigan were linked with moves for the 25-year-old in January, while fresh stories emerged this week of a £3.5million bid from Celtic. Derby have conceded that the Scotland international is attracting interest from a number of clubs, but the Championship side insist they have yet to receive a formal offer for the winger. Commons, who moved to Pride Park on a free transfer from east midlands rivals Nottingham Forest last summer, is concentrating on the forthcoming campaign with the Rams. "There are plenty of people telling me that this club or that club is after me, but it is just in the papers. It has got nothing to do with me and it just goes in one ear and out the other," Commons told the Derby Telegraph. "I am concentrating on this pre-season and getting as fit as I can to be ready for the first game. "Unless Derby pull me to one side and say they have accepted an offer for me, then I am here for the next two years - guaranteed. I ignore the speculation and get on with playing for Derby."
