Clough unsurprised by Commons Old Firm link
Derby manager Nigel Clough would not be surprised if leading scorer Kris Commons was attracting interest from the Old Firm.
Celtic and Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on the Scotland international, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Talks over a new deal for the 27-year-old to stay at Pride Park remain ongoing.
Rams manager Nigel Clough said: "I think Kris was linked last season with either Celtic or Rangers and it would not be a surprise if one of the big two up there are looking at him."
Commons has scored 12 npower Championship goals for Derby this season.
