Clough: Replay will be really tough

Lewis Grabban, making only his fourth start of the campaign, opened the scoring for 2004 finalists Millwall in the 49th minute at the Den on Saturday with his first goal of the season.[LNB]But Kris Commons, in his first appearance since October, equalised just three minutes later to take the tie back to the East Midlands.[LNB]Clough said: "I think it was a fair result in the end but we're very pleased to get away from here with the draw.[LNB]"I warned our two centre-halves about the threat of (Steve) Morison and that was certainly the case.[LNB]"Millwall are a whole-hearted side but play good football as well and we'll have a tough match on our hands when we get back to Pride Park.[LNB]"Our priority is to survive in the Championship but it'd be nice to have a good cup run. We've got a good home record but you can't be quite sure with our lads at the moment."[LNB]Millwall had the better of the first half and Dave Martin saw his goal-bound shot blocked while Jack Smith shot narrowly wide from 35 yards.[LNB]And Chris Hackett released Grabban but a poor first touch forced the former Crystal Palace man onto his weaker left foot and he shot wide.[LNB]Millwall captain Paul Robinson was called into action to head Scotland international Commons' deflected cross off the line in stoppage-time.[LNB]But it was The Lions who deservedly took the lead just four minutes after the break when Grabban's looping header capped a break which saw Jack Smith, Morison and Hackett link-up with Hackett's cross finding Grabban 18-yards out.[LNB]That lead lasted only three minutes when Millwall failed to clear Dean Moxey's cross from the right and Commons levelled with a fierce snapshot.[LNB]Martin came within a whisker of putting the home side back in the lead when his deflected 35-yard strike went narrowly wide before Morison saw his 77th minute header cleared off the line.[LNB]Millwall boss Kenny Jackett insists his League One troops can defeat Derby at the second attempt.[LNB]"When you're on top you have to have to take your chances and I was slightly disappointed to come in to half-time at 0-0," said Jackett.[LNB]"But we're looking forward to the replay and we're not going to go there and be overwhelmed.[LNB]"They've got some good players and some big names but we competed well today and will do the same up at Derby.[LNB]"We're in the hat and another home draw would be terrific - we'd love to have a big team at The Den - but we've got to get past Derby first."[LNB][LNB]
