Clough ready for Leeds test
Nigel Clough believes Derby`s opening Championship fixture against Leeds at Elland Road will be a test of his side`s character.
It is the third year in succession that the Rams will kick-off their campaign against one of the newly-promoted clubs having previously started against Doncaster and Peterborough.
However, those two fixtures were at Pride Park, and Clough said: "In that respect it will be different and we will learn a bit more about the players on Saturday when some of the younger ones go to Elland Road in front of nearly a full house.
"It will be a test of character, that`s for sure. We hope we have got more of the right type of characters now but we won`t really know until we get into the season."
