Clough looking to bring in striker

Derby manager Nigel Clough revealed he is trying to sign another striker after seeing his side fail to offer much in front of goal during the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United. Blades striker Richard Cresswell converted full-back Jean Calve's right-wing cross in the 15th minute to settle the contest and condemn Derby to their third defeat in five league matches. Clough said: "When we did get in the positions the decision-making was poor or the execution of it. "We were shooting from daft angles or not shooting when we were in good positions and the young lads were getting a bit confused out there. "We keep trying (to bring in a striker), we're making the calls and trying to get people fit. "We passed two good strikers in the corridor in Steve Davies and Chris Porter and it's very frustrating when they're not available."
