Derby boss Nigel Clough is looking to continue his rebuilding regime at Pride Park following his side`s goalless draw at Scunthorpe. Clough handed full debuts to on-loan striker Jamie Ward from Sheffield United and centre-back Daniel Ayala from Liverpool at Glanford Park and he hopes to have at least one more new face on parade for his side's home game will Hull on Tuesday. "We are engaged in talks with Preston to bring striker Paul Hayes in on loan," Clough confirmed. "Hopefully those negotiations can be completed in time for Tuesday and we are also talking to another striker so maybe we can push the boat out and bring in two." Clough is desperately looking to keep Derby out of relegation trouble after eight games without a win. "I have been pleased with the last two away performances," he said. "I thought you could see here at Scunthorpe signs that we are beginning to turn the corner. I thought we shaded the game on what was a very difficult playing surface. "Both teams like to get the ball down and play but struggle to do that. What we didn't get was the break we needed to try and get ourselves out of this run."
