Clough: Leacock like a new signing
The 24-year-old made his first senior start for 10 months in the 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace after a torrid time with groin and pelvic problems.
He was eventually forced off at Selhurst Park suffering with a tight calf but Clough reported it was just a precautionary move and the defender should be fit to face Bristol City at the weekend.
"Dean Leacock is fine, which is great because we were delighted to have him back and available," Clough told the club's official website.
"Dean has been like a new signing for us and hopefully he can remain fit and in the team for the remainder of the season."
