Clough hoping Savage keeps fit

The midfielder has been struggling with a hamstring problem of late but managed to play 66 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Doncaster before being substituted.[LNB]"Robbie has been struggling with a nerve problem at the top of his hamstring," Clough told the Derby Telegraph. "It has been building up and we just thought he was struggling a bit. That wasn't really him out there.[LNB]"He has been playing with a bit of discomfort in the last few weeks. With a good week this week, he should be fit for Blackpool."[LNB]Savage echoed the sentiments of his manager, saying: "I will play through niggles. The reason I have played so many games is that I have played through niggles.[LNB]"But there are no excuses for Saturday, my performance was not good enough."[LNB][LNB]
