Derby manager Nigel Clough hopes to see long-term injury absentees Miles Addison and Steven Davies back in action in the new year. Addison has not featured since January due to a foot problem that required surgery in America, while Davies suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the club`s pre-season preparations. "Miles and Steven are coming on very well indeed," Clough told Derby`s official website. "Miles is working with (coach) Johnny Metgod this week with a view to joining in with the players next week. "It is still very early days and it would be nice to get him involved with the players where we can. He is doing the warm-up for training with them at the moment, which is nice to see. He could be back after Christmas but we are taking it steady. "He has worked incredibly hard, as has Steven Davies and he is on schedule too. We are looking forward to him being back in a couple of months. "His attitude has ben excellent. He took the setback he suffered remarkably well and has continued to remain positive throughout his rehabilitation."
