Clough happy with January business
The Rams added experienced Stoke midfielder Michael Tonge and young Manchester City defender Javan Vidal to their ranks on loan deals on deadline day. County also signed defender Russell Anderson until the end of the season and full-back Nicky Hunt on loan from Bolton.[LNB]Forwards Aleksander Prijovic and Luke Varney were the only departures, joining Swiss side FC Sion and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.[LNB]"We are happy with the business we have done during January and believe the balance of the squad is good and in a healthy position to take us forward," Clough told the club's official website. "The players we have brought in during the month have improved us and added depth to the team."[LNB]Clough also revealed he may renew his interest in other players when the window for emergency loans reopens next Tuesday.[LNB]He added: "There are still a number of deals in the pipeline which we may pursue, or we may wait and conduct our business in the summer. I would say it is possible that we will be adding more faces to the squad before the season is over."[LNB][LNB]
