Clough behind my recall - Teale

Pride Park winger Teale, 30, is in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying double-header against Holland and Iceland.[LNB]It was his first call-up for a year and he admitted he feared his international career may have been over.[LNB]He said: "I'm delighted to be back in the Scotland squad.[LNB]"The older you get and with younger players coming through, you worry your time may be up. But I've been working hard and it's nice to get back for two huge games.[LNB]"Nigel Clough is definitely the reason why I'm back in the squad. It's night and day compared to what it was like before he came in and I'm playing with a smile on my face again.[LNB]"He has made things enjoyable, he likes to get the ball wide which suits me. We've all bought into his methods."[LNB]Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Darren Fletcher has warned Holland to think again if they expect to inflict another 6-0 humiliation on Scotland a week on Saturday.[LNB]Fletcher was part of the side thrashed in the Euro 2004 play-offs more than five years ago and is still hurting from that defeat.[LNB]He said in the Daily Express: "To play for the national team and lose 6-0 is humiliating.[LNB]"Fans had travelled in huge numbers and we took them from one extreme at Hampden, with a 1-0 win, to the other, with a 6-0 defeat.[LNB]"It all happened in four days and there was a total rollercoaster of emotions. But I want to go back there and show that that wasn't a real Scotland team.[LNB]"We have come a long way since then. There will be a much-improved team this time in Amsterdam.[LNB]"Maybe we didn't perform that night. We lost silly goals, we played 4-4-2 and attacked when we should have been more solid.[LNB]"Hopefully, the Dutch will remember that and think this can be another easy game and we'll make sure that it isn't. We want to make it a really tough night for them."[LNB][LNB]
