Bueno earns praise after double

Derby coach Johnny Metgod insists there is more to come from Alberto Bueno after the young Spaniard's man-of-the-match display against Crystal Palace. Real Valladolid forward Bueno scored his first two goals for the Rams since his season-long loan move to Pride Park as Nigel Clough's side hammered hapless Crystal Palace 5-0 in the npower Championship. The 22-year-old former Real Madrid man was recommended to the Rams by Spain coach Vicente del Bosque and Metgod believes that given time, he will be shrewd acquisition for Clough's side. He said: "I don't think it's right after a performance like today to single out one player, but he's a very gifted and talented player, I knew that from the first time I saw him. "The only thing he's got to learn is to adapt to a different type of football, it's going to be very, very physical and even more so now, because everybody knows him. There is a lot more in him than he's shown even today, because I still think he's a bit too relaxed when he gets the ball." He added: "He's done magnificently today. He's a quality player, you can see that. Every time he gets the ball he tries to create something, either do it himself or play balls in for somebody else, he's a really, really gifted player but you've got to give him time to adjust to the pace of the game."
