Craig Bryson was an unplayed substitute as the Scotland team lose 5-1 in an International friendly in the US

Rams player of the year Craig Bryson failed to add to his single Scottish International cap when travelling to America this weekend for an International friendly.

Bryson has forced his way into contention for a starting place in the Scottish side after many excellent performances for the Rams this season after his successful move last Summer.

Maybe Craig Levein should have played Bryson as the USA cruised to a 5-1 win over Scotland, in an International friendly played before 40,000 fans in Jacksonville, USA.

Bryson will travel home with the Scottish squad today (Sunday 27th May) and will continue his summer holiday before returning to pre-season training some time mid July
