Barker pledges to prove his worth
Barker takes his place in the Rams squad travelling to Scunthorpe on Saturday, having come through 68 minutes of a friendly against Notts County.[LNB]The former Blackpool man missed the opening two games against Peterborough and Rotherham after limping out of a pre-season clash against Exeter.[LNB]He told the Evening Telegraph: "Derby have paid a lot of money for a defender.[LNB]"I have played a lot of games in the Championship, especially in the last two or three years, and I want to prove I'm worth that money. I want to do the very best I can for Derby."[LNB][LNB]
