Barker could make reserves return
The centre-back, who has only started half of the club's 24 Championship matches since his £900,000 arrival at Pride Park in the summer, has missed the last seven games with a thigh problem.[LNB]His first chance of a return is the reserve-team fixture against Walsall at Alfreton Town's Impact Arena on January 13.[LNB]"We've pencilled him in for that game but he's going to have to train before the end of this week to be ready for that," said manager Nigel Clough.[LNB][LNB]
