Derby County have confirmed they have loaned out midfielder James Bailey to Coventry City.
The 23-year-old will stay with the Sky Blues for an initial 3 month loan spell. Coventry boss Mark Robins is delighted to have Bailey, who he sees as a utility player, who can play at right back as well as the midfield role he played in Nigel Clough’s sides.
Bailey will go straight into action with the sky blues, with a tasty Capital One Cup clash with Premiership Arsenal tomorrow night (Wednesday).
The loan deal had been expected after James had been left out of recent sides that Clough has put out at Derby and following his ankle injury that kept him out of the first team at the end of last season.
