Former Spanish international midfielder Juan Carlos Valeron has announced he will leave Deportivo la Coruna after 13 years at the club.
The 37-year-old, who won 46 caps for Spain between 1998 and 2005, was part of the Depor side who were relegated to the Segunda Division for the second time in three years after a 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad on Saturday night.
"Accompanied by the president, club captains and some of his teammates, Juan Carlos Valeron revealed that he will leave Depor," said a statement on the club's website on Sunday.
"I am very thankful because this club has given me everything," added Valeron.
