Injured Andreasen will miss World Cup

Hannover 96 midfielder Leon Andreasen will have to give up on his dream of going to the World Cup with Denmark next month.
The groin injury which has been bothering the 27-year-old for most of this season requires a further operation which is expected to take place next week. This means that Andreasen will miss the World Cup in South Africa.
"That is the way life is sometimes," Andreasen told Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet. "Obviously I would have loved to go to the World Cup, but I am determined to get back stronger than ever."
