Denmark coach Morten Olsen insists his side need just a little luck and lots of hard work to beat Germany in Sunday's Euro 2012 clash to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Denmark take on Germany at Arena Lviv with the Germans needing a point to finish as Group B winners having already beaten Portugal and Holland.
After defeat to Portugal following their shock win over Holland, Olsen's team can still make the knock-out phase and a draw would be good enough if Portugal lose to Holland in Kharkiv in the other Group B match.
"Nothing is impossible and we'll be going for victory," said Olsen.
"We are looking forward to it, Germany have shone and must be among the favourites to win the competition.
"They have the 'show' aspect and we have a huge amount of work ahead to stop them, but we have a great team spirit and need that little bit of luck.
"We go into the last game with everyone still hopeful of advancing and you can't get more exciting than that."
After the euphoria of their 1-0 win over Holland last Saturday, the Danes were brought crashing back to earth on Wednesday with a 3-2 loss to Portugal and Olsen said the pain of defeat has served to motivate his team.
"Over the past week we've had two dressing rooms, one euphoric and one full of grave, dark feelings. We're keen to experience the first one again," said the 62-year-old.
Twenty years after beating Germany to win the 1992 European Championship final in Sweden, Denmark last lost to Germany in 1996 and on their most recent meeting, the Danes came from 2-0 down to draw in Copenhagen in August 2010.
Olsen, who has coached Denmark since 2000, has yet to taste defeat against Germany after two wins and a draw, but despite his impressive record, Olsen dismissed those results out of hand.
"We can't use that, if we haven't lost to Germany that is not important, those games were between two different teams and that is not something we can rely on," he said.
"I'm absolutely sure Germany will not underestimate us tomorrow as perhaps they did 20 years ago as they know that on our day we can beat anybody."
