New Darlington manager Dave Penney is a happy man after starting his Quakers reign with two wins in two games.
A 1-0 home victory over Chester City in the league followed an away win at Tranmere Rovers in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, leaving Penney pleased with his players.
He told the club's official website: "We are pleased with them. I've been in the building for five days and their attitudes have been first-class.
"I can't fault anyone. The work-rate, commitment and enthusiasm are all first-class. If you get that then you've got half a chance."
"I've only been at the club for what seems like five minutes, yet already we have played two games."
