The club have yet to exit administration and new manager Colin Todd has been forced to draft in an entire new team during the close season, with Windass playing a key role in putting together a new group of players. Windass told the club's official website: "We go to Aldershot on Saturday and although you prefer to be at home first up, the fixtures have come out this way and we've got to deal with it. We're heading down to Aldershot on Friday and we'll do everything professionally. "The lads are really champing at the bit now, they can't wait for Saturday to come and I'm looking forward to it as well. "The players have been fantastic. We had two senior players at the start of the summer and we've scrambled a squad together, but we've got a good group of players now, they've responded very, very well and I think they'll do well this season. "Their attitude has been different class. The majority of them weren't even getting paid until August 1."
