COLIN TODD has brought in vastly experienced goalkeeper Russell Hoult on a one month loan from fellow League Two side Notts County.[LNB] County have insisted that the deal is on the understanding that the 36-year-old can be recalled at 24-hour's notice.[LNB] The move comes after Todd had become concerned with David Knight's failure to handle the pressure of being number one at the Northern Echo Arena.[LNB] "I've had to look at the goalkeeper situation because of the position we're in," admitted the Quakers boss.[LNB] "If David was honest, and I know he is, he'd probably have to admit that he hasn't done as well as he should have.[LNB] "It's been a difficult baptism for the lad, but I think the time is right for him to step back and take a breather, and for me to take just take him away from the pressure for a while, but I'm sure he'll take a step back and long-term will be better for it."[LNB] "He (Hoult) brings a lot of experience and he'll hopefully come and do the business for us.[LNB] Hoult began his career with Leicester and has enjoyed spells with Derby County, Lincoln City, Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers.[LNB]
