Todd keen to forget missed chances
Dean Windass failed from the spot in a 1-0 defeat against Bury in midweek and this time Gary Smith was the culprit as Todd's men slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Port Vale.
The manager said: "We've again missed a great opportunity to take something from the game and we all know we should score penalties.
"I feel so sorry for the boys because I really care for them. I thought I got a great response from my team in the second-half and we should have got a point.
"But we will go back to the training pitch next week and get on with it. I won't let the players feel sorry for themselves because we are all professional people."
