Todd hails Darlo defensive duo
Todd's hastily-assembled squad were comfortably beaten in successive matches by Sunderland and Newcastle before turning in a much-improved display against the Scots in which former Bradford pair Arnison and Bower played a key role.
Todd said: "I think it was important for ourselves to give a good, competent performance against a side who finished ninth in the Scottish Premier League.
"The players I bought into the full-back positions, Bower and Arnison, did extremely well. We looked a lot stronger and there were positives to come out of the game.
"We looked more disciplined, more organised and worked the ball well, in the first half especially. Overall it was very pleasing and the midfield are gelling nicely."
