Todd focused on transfer market

Todd is looking for a mixture of youth and experience for next season, and told the club's official website: "I'll be looking to bring in players from the big north east teams on season-long loans." He has already identified some targets, and added: "I've already spoken to other managers and hope to have a squad in place by the time we start pre-season training on July 2." The club has been through some tough times financially and, although they hope to come out of administration soon, Todd will be working on a small budget. "I know how difficult it is going to be but the club has survived. The budget is a lot less than it has been, but we will build a side with it," the former Middlesbrough manager, who has already lost Jason Kennedy to Rochdale, said.
