Todd demands Bantams response
Windass had the chance to earn the Quakers a point but saw his tame effort easily saved by Wayne Brown.
Todd said: "We are a new team, but I'm making no excuses. We must move the ball a lot more quickly than we did. Players have to take responsibility, get on the ball and vary their game. I'm looking for a lot more from them.
"We put Bury under more pressure in the last five minutes than in the whole of the rest of the game.
"Deano's penalty was pathetic and he will admit that himself, but there were bigger problems than that and we must address them and pick ourselves up, starting against Crewe on Tuesday."
