The hosts recovered from an early setback, when Shrewsbury took the lead with less than two minutes on the clock; Lewis Neal heading in Jake Robinson's right wing cross from five-yards out.[LNB]Darlington equalised in the 26th minute when on-loan winger Jamie Devitt fired a 25-yard free kick in off a post to lift the home crowd.[LNB]The Quakers took the lead in the 57th minute when Steve Phillips could only parry an effort from Ian Miller into the path of Simon Thomas, and the on-loan striker side footed in his first Darlington goal from close range.[LNB]Shrewsbury rarely threatened as confidence oozed through the revitalised bottom club and efforts from Paul Arnison, Gary Smith and Curtis Main could have made Darlington's win more emphatic.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
