Staunton: Football is a cruel game
Mark Ellis and Eunan O'Kane put the visitors two up before Curtis Main pulled a goal back for the Quakers, but Mustapha Carayol made sure of the Gulls' victory late on.[LNB]"I couldn't believe that we were two goals down at half-time," said Staunton. "They had two shots and scored, we had twice as many and although they were only half chances we got into the right positions.[LNB]"Football can be a cruel game at times. But we didn't make their keeper work enough. I can't fault the players for their effort and commitment. They gave it their all and kept going right to the end.[LNB]"The second goal was crucial. It was a poor shot that was miss-hit and seemed to catch the lad on his heel.[LNB]"If that had happened at the other end of the field their keeper would have collected the ball.
