Staunton feeling relegation danger

Staunton steered the Quakers to their only league win of the season shortly after being installed as Colin Todd's replacement last month but two successive defeats have followed to leave Darlington rooted to the bottom and nine points adrift of safety.[LNB]Staunton said: "The players have to stand up to be counted and get a clean sheet. There were some good bits and pieces but until we can keep a clean sheet we are going to be rooted to the bottom.[LNB]"It's getting close now and we need to start picking up points. The players have got to realise we're into November now.[LNB]"There's a lot of hard work to be done and we can't keep giving the opposition two-goal starts."[LNB][LNB]
