DARLINGTON have signed Chesterfield defender Danny Hall just before today's 5pm deadline.[LNB] The 26-year-old, primarily a centre-back but a versatile defender, follows Spirerites team-mate Paul Harsley and Leeds defender Andrew Milne to the Northern Echo Arena, and like them will stay with the Quakers until January 2.[LNB] Hall played for non-league Stalybridge Celtic before joining Oldham Athletic as a trainee. He had a short loan spell with Scarborough before eventually moving to Shrewsbury Town.[LNB] He signed for Scottish SPL side Gretna in January 2008 but was a victim of their winding up before signing for Chesterfield.[LNB]
