Darlington midfielder Jeff Smith is expected to overcome injury in time for his side's home clash with Lincoln. Smith sustained a dead-leg in Saturday's win over Rotherham and was forced out of the action in the 85th minute, but should resume alongside Gary Dempsey, Gareth Waite and Tadgh Purcell in the Quakers' midfield. Manager Steve Staunton has no new injury or suspension problems as his side chase back-to-back league wins for the first time this season in their bid to close the gap on second-bottom Grimsby to three points. Midfielder Chris Lumsdon has returned to full training following a knee injury but is not yet ready for first-team action, while defender Mark Bower (ankle) and striker Noel Whelan (hamstring) remain sidelined.
