Darlington chairman Raj Singh has praised Colin Todd, after removing the manager from his post. Today's 1-1 draw at Grimsby was Todd's last in charge. And Singh said: "It's with great regret we are having to part company, albiet amicably. "We were delighted with the work Colin did in the summer assembling a squad from scratch. "He's a good guy and was very easy to work with and I'd like to thank him for everything he did for us.'' Youth coaches Neil Maddison and Craig Liddle will take charge for Tuesday's home game with in-form Rochdale. And Singh admitted that the search for the club's new manager has already started. In a statement on the club's official website, he added: "This is a great club for any manager. I hope our next manager sees it as a challenge and buys into what I am trying to achieve.''
