Seven handed their Darlington debuts
Darlington's first game of the season sees seven new players in the starting line-up.[LNB] Newport County are the visitors at The Northern Echo for Quakers' debut Blue Square Bet Premier game, and the seven new players are: Sam Russell, Jamie Chandler, Liam Hatch, Danny Hone, Kevin Austin, Paul Terry and Richard Offiong.[LNB] However, four of them Russell, Chandler, Hatch and Offiong - are already familiar to Darlington fans having played previously for the club.[LNB] Striker Offiong signed yesterday on loan from Carlisle United while midfielder Joe Clarke has joined from Solihull and is on the bench.[LNB] Tommy Wright, another back at the club for a second spell, is on the bench having put in some disappointing performances in pre-season.[LNB] Darlington (4-3-3): Russell; Arnison, Hone, Miller, Austin; Terry, Chandler, G Smith; Senior, Hatch, Offiong.
