Darlington manager Dave Penney has hinted that he will not be offering a permanent contract to striker Paul Robinson.
The former Hartlepool United, York City and Torquay United forward has been on trial with the Quakers for the last three weeks, but has struggled to impress Penney.
He told the Northern Echo: "I'd like to see what Robbo can do.
"He's done okay, but he needs to do a little bit better and show us what he's got. He certainly hasn't done enough so far to win a contract."
Former Bradford City midfielder Paul Evans and ex-Rochdale winger Ben Muirhead are also currently on trial at the Darlington Arena.
