Defender Adam Quinn returns the side for part one of the Gateshead versus Darlington trilogy this evening.[LNB] Defender Adam Quinn returns the side for part one of the Gateshead versus Darlington trilogy this evening.[LNB] The centre-back replaces Dan Burn who recently returned from a knee injury and he is availability is crucial to Quakers as Quinn cannot play in the FA Trophy.[LNB] He is cup-tied, as is Michael Smith, John McReady and Greg Taylor, so cannot be selected when the teams meet in the FA Trophy.[LNB] The first leg is at The Northern Echo Arena on Saturday, but first up is this evening's league encounter at the International Stadium.[LNB] Darlington retain a chance of reaching the play-offs, in eighth place and eight points from fifth, though the Heed may now be focussing their efforts on the Trophy as they have rested leading scorer Jon Shaw who has a slight groin strain.[LNB] Defender James Curtis has sustained a hamstring injury in training that may keep him out of the semi-final meetings while ex-Quakers winger Craig Nelthorpe has a hip problem.[LNB] But in the Gateshead side are former Darlington duo Adam Rundle and Richard Offiong, both of whom are making their first home starts after signing recently.[LNB] Both teams come into the game in good form with Gateshead having lost only two of their last 15 matches while Darlington have lost only once.[LNB] Gateshead (4-4-2): Deasy; Tavernier, Clark, Jones, Liddle; Brittain, Turnbull, Winn, Rundle; Fisher, Offiong.
